- • Take screenshots of all messages, payment confirmations, website
- • Call your bank's fraud helpline immediately
- • Request to freeze the fraudulent transaction
- • File complaint with bank's cybercrime cell
- • Get complaint acknowledgment number
- • Visit nearest police station with all evidence
- • Mention cybercrime.gov.in complaint number
- • Request FIR under IT Act 2000 and IPC sections
- • Get FIR copy for bank and follow-up
- • Check status on cybercrime portal weekly
- • Follow up with bank for refund process
- • If police don't cooperate, file complaint with SP
- • File chargeback request with payment gateway/UPI app
